Today, another beloved friend was lost to cancer. Carlos, you will forever be remembered as one of the strongest, most resilient, forever hopeful and happy persons I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. You have definitely changed my life for the better. Never giving up, you always fought the good fight with a smile on your face, seeming unfazed even when things went wrong. You made me laugh, you made me cry, you helped me to learn what it really means to enjoy life. And although it pains me to accept that you are no longer with us, I take comfort in the fact that you are no longer suffering or in pain now that you are in heaven. You will forever remain in my heart as a friend, a fellow patient, a dream street family member and a cancer warrior. <3
